Kyno for OWC Jellyfish

Adding Markers to a Clip

Markers are a great tool for a pre-editing workflow. Producers can use markers to communicate important information to the AE and Editor, such as this is a portion of the video file/shot that looks the best or tells a portion of the story without technical issues.

To add a marker in Kyno, you can scroll through the video and find the spot on the clip and either Click the Marker button at the far left of the transport controls, or you can hit the letter M to set a marker. To give the marker a title and description you can press the letter M twice on your keyboard.

(Press M twice on your keyboard to add Name and Description)

To remove a marker, place the play head over the marker and click the Marker Button or place the play head over the marker and hold Option +M to remove the marker.
