Recommended 10G Network Settings (macOS)

In order to get the most out of your 10G connection, your network settings need to be set appropriately.

Our recommended network settings for a 10G connection on Mac are:

  • Configure: Manually
  • Speed: 10GBaseT
  • Duplex: full-duplex
  • MTU: 9000

Make sure the box is unticked for AVB

These settings can be found in System Preferences -> Network -> [Network Interface] -> Advanced... -> Hardware

Please note that not all 10G adapters allow the same settings to be set manually. What you see available may vary from what is shown above.
